Moving is no fun. Whoever said it was is probably a crazy person.
But the good news is - I have internet at the new house! Yay!
I don't have a lot to say right now, but I just wanted to pop in and say hey. I should have a blog pretty soon with tons of information about stuff. But that's all I'm saying right now. But it's lots of good news.
Oh, and I fixed the cover for the Trylle Trilogy...

Good choice of cover artist!
ReplyDeleteClaudia just finished up a custom work for me as well featuring the beautiful Julia Duffy:

Moving is the pits I agree. Been there, done that. The cover of your book is amazing! It has such an ethereal kind of feel, that is really cool. Looking forward to more info. soon. I'll check back. If you like the rock band Queen, check out my latest post at my blog.

I love the cover! I just wanted to say that I finished the final book in your My Blood Approves series and I wanted to let you know I absolutly loved it. I started Switched today! Keep up the good work!!

Great cover, it's very moody and that font is wild. Can't wait to hear what you've been up to. Also, congrats on the house (and of course the internet)!
ReplyDeleteYay, can't wait to hear your good news!
ReplyDeletethat's why you hire movers!
ReplyDeleteCool cover! I love that font :D
ReplyDeleteI like the new cover :) I'm reading Torn right now and really enjoying it. Glad to hear you have internet again. It seems like every move involves the nervousness of being temporarily disconnected from the internet, as if our lives would come to a halt without it. Viva the internet!
ReplyDeleteI check everyday for a new blog! Finally one today and at least it gives me something to look forward too!! =) I can't wait for your next book to be out and I def can't wait to hear about the special edition for the trilogy! I'm praying its an alternate ending!! <3
ReplyDeleteI love the fact that the Upcoming Projects is under construction!! Does that mean an excerpt will be up for your newest book?? And maybe a date for its release???
ReplyDeleteI wish she had curly hair :( I don't know any cover that has curly hair. Every person that makes a cover, the person always has straight or wavy hair. No curly haired girls. :(
ReplyDeleteBut don't get me wrong I like the cover but I wish it was a curly haired girl. And it would go with the main character.
ReplyDeleteThe cover is gorgeous. Well done!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cover!! Hang in there w/the moving stuff! Congrats all the way around! Can't wait to hear your latest news!
ReplyDeleteLove the color of your cover. So beautiful. You're an inspiration to us all! Keep up and don't stress the move...

The redesign looks great. And congratulations on the move. With any luck all the final unpacking will go smoothly and you'll be back to updating? (fingers crossed)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting the house to the point where the Internet has re-entered the picture. We had a lot of gasps of Internet when we moved, but it took a few weeks to finally get the wireless in place.
ReplyDeleteIt seems like everything should be simpler, doesn't it? ;-)
Congrats on the amazing cover! I look forward to reading your blogs again!

One More Day: A Modern Ghost Story
I really like the cover . . . but wasn't Wendy's hair curly? I love the artwork but the hair threw me off.
ReplyDeleteWhat does the "special edition" part entail? When will you tell us? *Holds breath*
ReplyDeleteHeavens to betsy folks! Wendy has a hair straightener :)
ReplyDeleteOh and also - I can't believe so many people want an alternate ending to Ascend! Maybe it helps that I was picturing Loki as Bradley Cooper, but I think the ending was spot on.
ReplyDeleteNice cover and congrats on your new house. All the best Amanda.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing about moving is the fresh start. Getting to redo your place without seeing things the way they were before.
ReplyDeleteMoving is poop. In other news, I blogged about your blog :) Your Trylle Trilogy looks good. Thinking I might need to get on the bandwagon already!!
ReplyDeleteAt least you have internet now! Nothing worse than moving to a new place, still having stuff to unpack, and no internet to know that there's still life going on beyond all the boxes you have left! haha
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to drop by and say that you inspired me to write a YA fantasy series called "Mountaintop High." More info can be found on my blog!
Congratulations on your successful move, Amanda! Great to hear you are back online.
ReplyDeleteThe cover for the new book is a.m.a.z.i.n.g!!
Happy Easter!!

Yay, internet!
ReplyDeleteI just finished the Trylle Trilogy today. I read the whole thing on my iPhone in about a week. First time I've ever done that, it was weird and fun! Anyway, I loved it and I wish Wendy's story didn't have to end so soon. Looking forward to Honalee.. it's looking witchy!
ReplyDeleteNice cover! Btw, my bday is the day b4 urs :D
ReplyDeletecover is nice.
ReplyDeleteMenaka Indrani
Cool cover. Your achievements inspire me a lot. Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteCover is very nice!
ReplyDeleteHey to you too, Amanda.
ReplyDelete@Matthew - Yo, I didn't know you knew Amanda Hocking too! That's pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteLoz....I WISH SHE DIDN'T HAVE A HAIR STRAIGHTNER! I might sound like a crazy 14 year old, but I have curly hair and it's sad when Wendy (who's description looks just like me) doesnt have curly hair :( But the cover is good :) But still... :(
ReplyDeleteGuess I'm one of those crazy people. I don't mind moving. Not my favorite activity, mind you. I don't do it every other day, but I do like the idea of starting fresh, filling a new space and trying to make a home of it.
ReplyDeleteThat's a really cool cover, btw. Good stuff.
Also wanted to tell you--given you're a Dark Knight fan--that DC is bringing Batman: Year One to DVD in the fall, animated. Was thrilled when I learned this as the graphic novel is quite good. Give it a read if you haven't. Frank Miller did it.
Keep well.

Lol Mikayla - I have curly hair as well, but I always straighten it. That's probably why I don't mind the cover art :)
ReplyDeleteLOL Loz- I straighten my hair a lot too :P My hair is straightened right now, I think I look better with my hair straightened and my friends think so too ! But I mind the cover art ! I like it lots but, i have to be truthful and say I'm not a fan of my curls even if everyone says they like my curls but even if I'm not a fan of my curls I want people to see how beautiful curly hair could be :) lol ugh im weird....
ReplyDeleteI HAVE A BLOGGER ! COME FOLLOW ME ANYONE !I just posted my first blog. But I promise you it will get more exciting :)
