Here's how it works:
Unlike ongoing meme’s, this one is temporary - every Thursday throughout the month of Under the Seapalooza. Each week, I'll show off my favorite something (this week it's bookmarks), then you show off your favorite thing and enter to win a prize.
This is the schedule for Show & Tell Thursdays:
July 25th - Bookmarks
August 2nd - eReader Skins
August 9th - Journals
August 16th - Book Trailers
I'll be honest - I love trailers for anything. Movies, books, TV shows, you name it, and I like it. I've seen many book trailers popping over the last couple years, and I've decided to show you a couple of my favorite.
The first one is for Jenny Pox by J. L. Bryan. It's not only a book I really enjoy, but the trailer is also super creepy and very well done.
And finally, it's the book trailer for Watersong. I know, it's my own book, so I can't be objective, but it's definitely one of my favoites.
What about you? Do have a favorite book trailer? Or are you an author with a trailer for you own books? Maybe you don't have a favorite book trailer, but you do have a favorite movie trailer. Let me know.
The Show & Tell Giveaway this week is for a $50 Visa Gift Card, so after you watch all kinds of awesome book and movie trailers, you can go out and buy yourself some of those awesome books and movies.
Enter in the Rafflecopter below. All Show & Tell Giveaways will run until August 25th. It's open to the US & Canada only, sorry.

Thanks again to Nikki Jefford for coming up with such a fun idea!

I love trailers also! Some of my favorite book trailers are the ones for the Hush,Hush series by Becca Fitzpatrick and the trailer for Where She Went by Gayle Forman. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteOne trailer I really loved was Struck's! You should check it out! :)
ReplyDeleteThe trailers I love are the one for WAKE and the ones for OBSIDIAN and ONYX by Jennifer L. Armentrout
ReplyDeleteHush Hush gave me chills.
ReplyDeleteI love the three you posted, but I would have to place SENSE AND SENSIBILITY AND SEA MONSTERS in my top faves. That one is a great take on a favorite author with campy monsters. It reminds me of my ever favorite SyFy original movies. ABRAHAM LINCOLN VAMPIRE HUNTER is in the same vein for me too.
ReplyDeleteI really love the trailer for ASCEND. I also like Jayde Scott's trailer for A JOB FROM HELL.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book trailer is for Angel by James Patterson. It was the first book trailer I ever saw on tv.
ReplyDeleteOooh, my favorite movie trailer ever was for Suckerpunch, which is also my favorite movie :)
ReplyDeleteShatter Me is one of my favorite books. I love it! And I bought it because of the awesome book trailer! :)
I loved the book trailer for Insurgent. For movies, the latest Batman Movie's trailer rocks ass. Total Recall'strailer rocked too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this giveaway.
My favorite movie trailers were for LotR series! Can't wait for The Hobbit!

For me movie wise my favorite movie trailer was Batman the Dark Knight Rises this year. It was really good.
ReplyDeleteI love the Wake trailer and the Hush Hush trailers as well.
Okay, I admit I have a love of watching all kinds of movie trailers, but I think the trailer for Kickass just rocked me, especially with the purple-haired girl (my fave color) putting on a show with so much butt-kickery that it was just stupid-good. And it helps that in the first few seconds, some idiot gives the trailer a crash opening while trying to play superhero. Definitely left a lasting impression. The trailer, I mean :-)
ReplyDeleteThe trailer for Fireproof always makes me tear up....LOL
ReplyDeleteI like the Wake trailer more than I thought I would!! : )
I cant wait till my book gets here!
ReplyDeleteMy kids saw the "Despicable Me Part 2" movie trailer recently and they were really excited.

ReplyDeleteI actually don't watch that many book trailers and movie trailers aren't really something I favorite either. But I do like the Wake trailer. I'm not saying that just because you're the author of the book, but it was one of the best I've ever seen. And it's the only one I actually liked a lot.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! :D
These were great. Creepy. Love it. =)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the trailer for dark knight rises...not only was the trailer good but the movie was awesome as well.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite trailer is for the book 52 Reasons to Hate My Father. It plays exactly like a movie trailer. It's the best I've seen yet.
ReplyDeleteawesome trailers! keep em coming
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome trailers! My favorite right now is the one for Onyx.

Love the wake trailer! Book trailers truly have become like mini-tv series.
ReplyDeleteI second just start. Great trailers are practically movies in themselves these days. Fantastic for getting the word out.
ReplyDeleteNice trailers. Jenny Pox was just creepy enough to keep my attention and intrigue me. Shatter Me had some great images. Wake grabbed my interest immediately and seems to fit right into my wheelhouse!
ReplyDeleteThe trailers are awesome! =0) Thanks for the information!
ReplyDeleteI like the trailers on your blog, but found the one for WAKE the most compelling. I already purchased the eBook so it didn't matter one way or the other, but that was my favorite.

ReplyDeletewhat's up amanda, Just left youtube and your book trailer is amazing. Very professional! One of my favorite movie trailers has got to be the Japanese animated movie, "Howl's Moving Castle" If you haven't seen it it's def a must see! p.s. was in Bj's Wholesale club today and saw your book there, the cover is very cool, it actually stood out from all the others. Keep up the awesome work.
ReplyDeleteI love the character relationships you are showing here. It is a great way to view them in depth for me since I am highly visual. PJ
ReplyDeleteSaw the Jenny Pox trailer a while ago and loved it immediately. So much vibe!
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen too many book trailers yet, but one of my favorite recent trailers was for Prometheus as well as the one for the Cinderlla Diamond Edition that's being released, the clock ticking so so dramatic!
