Here's how it works:
Unlike ongoing meme’s, this one is temporary - every Thursday throughout the month of Under the Seapalooza. Each week, I'll show off my favorite something (this week it's bookmarks), then you show off your favorite thing and enter to win a prize.
This is the schedule for Show & Tell Thursdays:
July 25th - Bookmarks
August 2nd - eReader Skins
August 9th - Journals
August 16th - Book Trailers
When I first got my Kindle two years ago, I discovered GelaSkins, and I've been obsessed with them ever since. I've gotten skins for my eReaders, my cell phone, and even my laptop. I've changed them a few times, but here are my current skins:

| My nook skin is called "Coffee Angel" by Caia Koopman. |
![]() |
| My Kindle Fire skin is called "Meow" by Lora Zombie. |
So what about you? Do you have a skin for your eReader? If you don't have an eReader, do you have covers for you cell phone or laptop?
If you're like me and love decorating your electronics, then you're in luck. Because I'm giving away a $50 Gift Certificate to Gelaskins. What's awesome about them is they have skins for phones, laptops, eReaders, iPads, gaming, etc. You can design your own skin, or even order prints from their artists. So even if you don't have an eReader right now, you should definitely enter the giveaway.
All Show & Tell Giveaways will run until August 25th. It's open to the US & Canada only, sorry.

Cute idea! I just have a plain and boring kindle, so I wanted to thank you for sharing that site! I've already found 5 or 6 skins I need to choose from when I have the money! :)
ReplyDeleteMine is black and silver Sony eReader.

Those are so cool., I would love to get one for my oldest daughter. We read the Trylle Trilogy at the same time and loved it!
ReplyDeleteI don't use any skins, but I have a really pretty antique-looking red cover for my Kindle Touch. It looks like an old book.
ReplyDelete"Meow" is awesome! I like that these have back and front skins. When I was gifted a Kindle 2 (about 3 years ago) it came with a back skin. Still love both.

I don't actually own an eReader yet, though it is on my b-day wishlist (BTW: Wake's release date also happens to be my 21st birthday!)

ReplyDeleteWhoa! Those are some cool skins. My cell and kindle both have skins but my laptop doesn't. Neither of the skins I have are as cool as those, though!

ReplyDeleteI'm a Nook girl, and I've always wanted a skin but I've never gotten one because I never knew about the quality. Thanks for your review!
ReplyDeleteMy Nook is naked right now, lol! I have yet to find the perfect outfit for it, so it's been 'skinless' since I got it 8 months ago! I am loving these, will probably have to get one from Gelaskins soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway :)
are beautiful
ReplyDeleteI love your e-reader skins! So cute! I have a plain pink gel skin for my Nook. I have been trying to decide on a skin for my laptop for like three months now but I just can't decide which one I want. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI also am lacking any skins for my Kindle. I have a standard Smart Cover for my iPad. It's an improvement over what I used when I first got my iPad and didn't get a cover for it: a towel. yup. that's right. I carried my iPad around in my purse... wrapped in a towel. Clearly I am a sophisticated electronics user.
ReplyDeleteMine is a silver NOOK Color with a purple, hot pink, and pink dot white NOOK cover with the hot pink inside the case.
ReplyDeleteI don't use any skins, because I'm dropping my electronics often, so I need more protection than that. But I would love one for my laptop :)
ReplyDeleteI have one skin for my kindle but I've had it for a few years now and I would love a new one!

I have a kindle but no skin. I really want a Tardis! Or anything orange. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWhen Ifirst got my reader I thought of it as a tool - I'm a book marketer, publicist, reviewer - and only wanted a cover to protect my investment. Gradually I found myself reading my favorite genres on it and realise now that it lacks the life spark it needs for this!
ReplyDeleteI don't have any eReader skins, but it's a coincidence that I'm thinking of getting myself one for my birthday. : )

ReplyDeleteThere's this cover I have, it claims that if you bring it underwater it'll be fine, but I haven't tried it yet lol:)

ReplyDeleteOoo! Pretty skins! I've been eyeing them for my Nook and laptop, but haven't gotten one. Thanks for sharing that site, though, for me to browse.
ReplyDeleteI can't decide if I want to get one that's pretty or obnoxious. Pretty would be nice, but obnoxious would work as a thief deterrent. (Hey, it works for my car keys.)
I love the Caia Koopman skin for Nook!
ReplyDeleteI have a perry the platypus skin for my i pod touch!
ReplyDeleteI love decorating my electronics, unfortunately I don't have a Nook or a Kindle. But thanks for the link to Gelaskins. :)
