The Sexiest Cover Ever

Okay, so I can finally reveal the cover for Tidal (Watersong #3), and it's pretty much my favorite cover ever.

Before I show this awesome cover, I'm going to familiarize you with the Watersong series (in case you already aren't familiar with it). The series follows sixteen-year-old Gemma Fisher and her older sister Harper as a dangerous paranormal element interrupts their quiet life in a seaside town, and as they both navigate their love lives, growing up, and being a family.


Wake features Gemma on the cover
Lullaby features Harper on the cover

The first book - Wake - is already out now, and the second book - Lullaby - will be out November 27, 2012. For more info on the series, click: here.

And now here's the gorgeous cover for Tidal.

This lovely cover features Daniel (rawr) and Penn

More info coming soon, including a longer synopsis, excerpt, release date, pre-order info, and book trailer. I'm not sure of the official release date yet, but Tidal will be out in early 2013.

  10. Fantastic cover! I love those dark colours.
    Also, my "Wake" cover isn't exactly the same. The part above the water is different - a big moon on the left and no lighthouse or land. Was that for Australia only?

    1. The UK/Australian/South African/Asian covers are released through Pan Macmillon as opposed to St. Martin's here in the US, and the cover they went with is slightly different. I'm not sure if they're going to use the same covers for Lullaby and Tidal or they will alter them slightly. But I think both covers for Wake are pretty ;)

  15. I LOVE "Wake!" I really want to read the next book but I have to wait 51 m ore days. I really LOVE the cover for Tidal too.

    I like the waves crashing around the characters and I really like the tree design on his back.

    I'm already drooling and it is HOT!!!!!

  17. LOVE IT. Can not wait for the next book to come out. I also finished the hollows and SOOOOO want the third book to come out...please release the next book soon.....I am going through withdrawls...I need more zoombies :)

    As a Preteen coming into myself I found Velma Dinkley to be everything awesome, nerdy, and sexy. Now as a 22 year old you have absolutely revitalized this image of nerdy is attractive. I was introduced to you through a podcast you did in an apple store and was immediately swept off my feet by your voice, person, attitude, and story of a fun loving geek with volumes of fiction in your heart. After that I was compelled to google you (but of course). Dear goodness you are like the Adele of writers! Wanting to stay classy I'll leave it at that. Thank you so much for sharing your story and the whimsical tales you weave.

  26. Just curious why put Penn and Daniel together on the cover? The positioning of them seems very seductive, which kind of threw me for a loop. Is there any particular reason why you chose those two to be on the cover, or are you just putting each of the main characters on one of them? Thanks!
